FigBytes came to Takt (formerly Massive) in 2020 with a clear mission: to transform their brand identity and marketing website to better reflect their role as a leader in the ESG software market. Despite their innovative tools for sustainability and corporate responsibility, they faced several significant challenges. Their brand identity was inconsistent, with no unified guidelines to create a memorable presence. Additionally, the dual use of “FigBytes” for both the company name and platform caused confusion among users about their offerings. Their marketing website also lagged behind, failing to convey the cutting-edge nature of their technology or guide buyers effectively through their journey.

Designing for a Diverse, Data-Driven Audience

FigBytes’ audience included enterprise clients across industries such as hospitality, oil and gas, financial services, and technology, as well as investors and regulators interested in ESG impacts and capital access. To address these diverse needs, Takt began by reimagining the FigBytes brand. The refined logomark, featuring the “F” from FigBytes, was paired with a tech-forward green and blue palette to convey innovation and sustainability. Visual and narrative guidelines were developed to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.

Recognizing the need for a solution, Takt embarked on a project to elevate FigBytes’ presence in the market. The goals were twofold: to craft a distinctive brand identity that would stand out in the competitive ESG landscape, and to redesign the website to enhance the buyer journey, increase conversions, and align with FigBytes’ technological prowess. The new site needed to be visually compelling, intuitive, and future-proof, adhering to accessibility standards and optimizing for SEO.

A Website That Delivers Clarity and Conversion

The website redesign prioritized user experience, starting with a thorough audit of user flows and content strategy. By focusing on clarity and engagement, Takt delivered a minimalistic, spacious design that emphasized FigBytes’ unique strength: data visualization. The content was structured to tell a compelling story, guiding users smoothly through the site with animations and storytelling elements. Development efforts culminated in a custom WordPress theme that was responsive, accessible, and ready to scale with FigBytes’ growth.
