Get to Know Ryan

Director, Brand Strategy

Ryan transforms complex brand challenges into powerful narratives that connect with people. Starting his career at a creative agency for publicly traded companies, he developed a rare ability to distill technical complexity into compelling stories – a skill he later honed working brand-side with the National Hockey League’s Edmonton Oilers and Rogers Place.

His superpower lies at the intersection of strategic thinking and creative storytelling. Ryan and his team work to uncover the authentic “reasons for being” that makes brands truly distinct. What sets Ryan apart is his capacity to see beyond surface-level marketing to identify the deeper “why” that drives brand resonance. At Takt, he leads brand strategy initiatives that balance analytical precision with emotional intelligence – creating narratives that fundamentally shift how audiences perceive and connect with brands.

His work spans industries from professional sports to higher education, technology to retail, and everything in between, consistently delivering the same outcome: brand stories built on authentic truths rather than marketing conventions.
